We were greeted with a long line, but the free coffee and light mood made it move quickly. Somehow, I was back in my car at 8am and able to get to school on time.
Each time an opportunity comes around to vote for an elected official, I am more involved. It seems my opinions grow stronger each year. I am not someone who can often agree or disagree with all statements 100% so it is important for me to decide which issues matter most to me.
Take a look at the exact STATE GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT that I saw this morning.
You can find your sample ballot by plugging in your address here.
That was a smart idea Ms. Schutz on re-checking your place for voting. It must be really hard for you to get ready fast having a young little cute boy and another coming.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know about politics and stuffs but I am pretty sure that when you went to vote, you vote for the right person. I think what you said in class is really important. That before voting you like to search up the people that are going to be in the election ballot, so that way you have some information of the people you are going to vote. :)
That free coffee service is really nice! I like that.
ReplyDeleteIt was very lucky that you checked the place before going to the same place as last year, because if you didn't check then voting might end before you getting there.
ReplyDeleteI like how they were giving out free coffee while you were in line to vote. They should do that in every neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteI wish I can vote too,I am so happy Obama is still our President of the United States.
